Cabinet
- The cabinet was fully veneered in applewood and finished with premium Italian clear polyester lacquer. Indian apple veneer gives the instrument its unique and distinguished character.
Acoustic
- The soundboard was restored and coated with the finest Italian lacquer.
- New bridge caps for the bass and treble bridges were crafted through a four-stage profiling process using selected beech wood.
- Strings from renowned manufacturers were installed: Heller for the bass and Roslau for the treble – individually scaled and produced based on precise measurements.
- A new multi-layer pinblock was installed. Its structure allows for solid and consistent drilling, ensuring increased tuning stability.
- The cast-iron frame was fully restored, and its surface coated with top-quality lacquer, custom-matched to the brand and model of the instrument.
Action
- The action was fully restored using original Steinway & Sons hammers and shanks, achieving unmatched control and responsiveness.
- The keyboard was fully restored using original Steinway & Sons components.
- The white keytops were replaced with new, highest-quality Kluge Ivo Plast keytops.
- A precise regulation of the action and keyboard was carried out.
- The instrument underwent 8 tunings and voicing, performed by a certified technician.
