The instrument has undergone a complete restoration, which encompassed the piano case, the acoustic section, and the action with the keyboard. The case has been finished with the highest-quality Italian polyester lacquer in deep black. Selected elements of the case — such as the underside of the large lid, the lid support rail, the prop, the rim, and the inner side of the key cover — have been finished with premium Italian clear polyester lacquer. These elements were further enhanced with decorative Zebrano veneer, highlighting the piano’s unique character.

Cabinet

  • The piano case has been finished with the highest-quality Italian polyester lacquer in deep black. Selected parts of the case — such as the underside of the large lid, the lid support rail, the prop, the rim, and the inner side of the key cover — have been finished with premium Italian clear polyester lacquer. These elements have also been veneered with decorative Zebrano, emphasizing the piano’s unique character.

Acoustics

  • We installed a new soundboard made of high-quality, selected spruce from the renowned soundboard manufacturer Strunz, and finished it with premium Italian lacquer.
  • The manufacturer’s logo was precisely reproduced using the screen-printing method, maintaining its original position.
  • New bridge caps for both the bass and treble sections were crafted through a four-stage profiling process of selected beech wood.
  • We installed strings from renowned manufacturers: Heller bass strings and Röslau treble strings — individually scaled and produced based on precise measurement.
  • A new five-ply pinblock was fitted, made of the finest, tight-grained hard maple. Its structure allows for solid and consistent drilling, resulting in improved tuning stability.
  • The cast-iron frame was fully restored, and its surface was coated with the highest-quality lacquer, individually selected for the brand and model of the instrument.

Action

  • We installed an original, brand-new Steinway & Sons action, achieving unmatched control and responsiveness.
  • The keyboard underwent a complete restoration using authentic Steinway & Sons components.
  • The white keytops were replaced with new ones made of the finest Kluge Ivoplast material.
  • A precise regulation of the action and keyboard was carried out to ensure optimal performance.
  • The instrument was tuned eight times and voiced by a certified technician, guaranteeing exceptional tonal balance and refinement.
