The instrument is ready for sale. We have performed a complete restoration of the instrument, which covered the cabinet, the acoustic section, and the action mechanism with the keyboard. Detailed information regarding the instrument and the scope of the restoration can be found below.
CABINET
We finished the piano cabinet with the highest quality Italian deep black polyester lacquer. The inner rim and the inside of the fallboard were finished in highest quality Italian clear polyester lacquer. These elements underwent a decorative veneering process. Satin Walnut gave the instrument character and uniqueness.
ACOUSTIC
THE SCOPE OF THE ACOUSTIC SECTION RESTORATION IS PRESENTED BELOW:
- We restored the soundboard, then applied top-quality Italian varnish.
- We made new bass and treble bridge caps through four-stage profiling of selected beech wood.
- We installed strings from renowned manufacturers: Heller bass strings and Roslau treble wire – individually scaled and manufactured based on precise measurements.
- We installed a new multi-layer pinblock. Its structure allows for solid and consistent drilling, resulting in increased tuning stability.
- We restored the iron frame; the cast iron surface was covered with the highest quality lacquer, selected individually for the instrument’s brand and model.
MECHANIC
- The action underwent complete restoration; hammers and shanks were replaced with new ones from ABEL.
- We performed a complete restoration of the keyboard.
- We replaced the white keytops with new ones using top-quality Kluge Ivoplast material.
- We performed precise regulation of the action and keyboard.
- We subjected the instrument to 8-stage tuning and voicing performed by a certified technician.
